On December 12, 2022, the dictatorship of Azerbaijan blockaded Nagorno Karabakh/Artsakh and its 120,000 Armenian inhabitants.
On December 19, 2022, nine human rights groups issued a Genocide Warning for Nagorno Karabakh.
On September 19, 2023, after nine months of inaction by the world community, Azerbaijan attacked Nagorno Karabakh. The destruction of its 2,500-year-old Armenian community is in progress.
